Our Head Chef, Phil Lowe, has trained under the guidance of:

Gary Rhodes, The Greenhouse Restaurant, London
Stephen Bulmer, Atelier, London
Mark Gough, Harts Restaurant, Nottingham

Before joining us here at The Bustard, Phil was Head Chef at the Red Lion, Stathern, which, during his time there, won the following awards:

Michelin Bib Gourmand 2003 (retained)
AA Pub of the Year 2006
Publican Food Awards "Pub of the Year 2005"
Hardens "Best Newcomer 2004"
